Control system summary

Hydropower Plant Gantry Crane is specialized for hoisti ng generator rotor, which demands high security due to the great w¶eight and high cost of the hoisted equipment. In gene★ral, a rotor needs to be hoisted by two cranes because of the great weight, ∏which is difficult to be achieved with traditional relay log×ic control considering the safety.

HITE has developed dual crane cooperation control system on the basis of traditional sin gle automation control. PLC and industrial field bus techn₽ology are used to achieve both wired and wireless com≤munications between two cranes. The operation on two cranes have been integrated on≥ one of them as controlling synchronizing served cranes, which contributes as th±e domestic leader.

Hydropower Plant Gantry Crane controlling system has been successfully a↑pplied in National Key Projects, which cover the double-trolley bridge crane (2x250t) for± left bank plant and double hook crane (2x125t) for the temporary shiplock in Three Gorges Pr‍oject, Wanjiazha Multipurpose Dam Project on the Yellow↑ River and Er'tan Hydropower Project, on the leading edge internationally.
